What I’ve packed

packing for travel

Easier said than done, after months of research here is my list of the things I’m taking.

  • 45l back pack made for travel
  • 2 x swimming shorts
  • 8 x tshirts

  • Black jeans
  • thin blue trousers
  • shorts
  • 1 x wool long johns + undertop from Norway (for Nepal)
  • 8 x boxers
  • 2 x socks
  • 1 x trekking socks + 1 x tracel socks for those long flights
  • 5 x low cut socks
  • 1 x gortex light running shoes (water proof and ugly as hell)
  • 1 x large quick drying towel (will buy face towel as well)
  • 1 x warm hoodie
  • 1 x eye sleeping mask
  • 1 x ultra thin and warm zip up fleece

  • 3 x Ankar spare mobile batteries and plug-in charger with a usb slot (best thing I bought)
  • emergency first aid kit (sanitised and warerproof)

  • ultra small day pack (small bright yellow thing, highly recommend it – don’t buy a large day pack you will carry around) and especially useful for checking in.
  • 1TB Hard disk (transcend)
  • Smartphone
  • Audio splitter cable (so we can both listen to music and watch movies)
  • Headphones
  • 2 x Flight ear plugs
  • 1 x USB phone cable
  • Universal adapter (small but opens into any type of adapter – thanks Carlos)
  • Waterproof pouch (thanks Marek)
  • Waterpoof carrying bag (for your electronics)
  • Sea to Summit waterproof compression bag (for your clothes to fit)
  • pouch with all sorts of mosquito repellent crap
  • 3 x soap leaves
  • Plastic spoon\fork travel pack
